Airboat Specs & Details HULL CONSTRUCTION Ronnie's airboat Hulls are fully welded of Aluminum 3/16” thick on the bottom and 1/8” on the sides. Depending on the bottom width, up to 13 1/4” T-Bar Runners run the full length of the hull. Cross bracing consists of 1/4” T-Bar bolted in across the hull to prevent flexing. ENGINES Ronnie's airboats are available with Single, Double, and Triple engine propulsion. New GM High Performance engines are available from 200HP to 502HP. Engine stands are constructed of Mild Steel or Stainless Steel Material. PROPELLERS We use both Wooden Laminate and Composite propellers in two, three, and four blade configurations. PROP GUARDS Prop Guards are constructed of Mild Steel or Stainless Steel Tubing. Welded wire screen is used to provide safety for driver and passengers. The Prop Guard also is available with access doors for easy engine access. This safety feature allows the operator to access engine components without stepping through the prop. STEERING & INSTRUMENTATION Ronnie's uses full Marine Instrumentation including tachometer, hour meter, oil temperature gauge, and oil pressure gauge - all illuminated for easy reading. Steering consists of Push-Pull aircraft-quality cable system attached to foam-filled, Aluminum Welded rudders. OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS * Seating arrangements are available in many different configurations. All seat stands are constructed of either Mild Steel or Stainless Steel Material. * Fuel tanks are custom made of Welded Aluminum and are available in capacities ranging from 30 to 70 gallons. Tanks are equipped with electric senders and fuel gauge. * Polymer bottoms are a Standard Feature, excluding Coast Guard Certified Boats. * Custom built trailers are available for all boats.
