ALUMINUM SUPER MUD BOATS FOR HUNTING & FISHING  Ronnie's builds mudboats strictly by Customer specifications. Engines for Mud Boats may include a Suburu Marine, Mazda Rotary Marine, Volkswagen and GM Marine. These engines are water cooled engines that are cooled through the Keel Cooler system located under the hull. A HAPPY GOVERNOR In 2001, we had the privilege of manufacturing for our Governor, Mr. Mike Foster a 19' x 50" Aluminum, hunting and fishing mudboat with seating for 4 passengers and plenty of dry storage area. All built to his specifications. Center console, with instrument panel, GPS, Depth Recorder, Compass, search lights and VHF Radio. The engine is a fuel injected, super charged 240 HP, Marine Rotary Mazda, with a 1.5 ZF Marine Transmission. With 4 passengers, this boat runs 40 MPH. Upon completition of the boat. We were invited out to the Governor and Mrs. Foster's house, Oaklawn Manor to test run it. We were given a personal, guided tour by the Governor of his home, and his extensive wood carved bird collection. This was a special treat for us, as Oaklawn Manor is a beautiful Antebellum Home, that has been sitting on the banks of the Bayou Teche since 1837. It is listed with the National Register of Historic Places, and is open to the public for tours. The home definitely displays Mr. Mike and Mrs. Alice's pride that they have put into it. Building this boat for the Governor was a very pleasurable experience, not to mention an honor. He stopped in often to check the progress, customize it more, or just for a visit. It is always a pleasure to see him. We appreciate the confidence he placed in us to build him the perfect boat for his hunting and fishing needs.   These work boats motor through water hyacinths and mud with ease.   Environmentally friendly, twin engine super mud boat. Steering system can be Rotary Style or Hydraulic Style. Since these boats are built to your specifications. There are so many options that may be included.
